Shawano 248 TAC AIR is a Civil Air Patrol (C.A.P.) Squadron located in Shawano, Wisconsin. The Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer organization dedicated to Aerospace Education, Emergency Services (Search & Rescue) and Cadet Education. The Civil Air Patrol is an extension of the U.S. Air Force. As volunteers we meet to train each week to keep our skill levels high and to improve proficiency in our three areas of focus (Aerospace, Search & Rescue, and Cadet Programs). The Shawano Squadron is one of many squadrons through-out the state of Wisconsin that makeup the Wisconsin Wing.
